These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) govern your relationship with the # website (the “Service”) operated byASEAN Congress of Anesthesiologists (ACA2023) (”ACA2023”, “us”, “we”, “our”).
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Service. Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property ofACA2023 and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright and trademark, under governance of the Swiss law. Any, and all, disputes arising out of or in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the ordinary courts at the registered offices ofACA2023 in Rolle, Thailand. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent ofACA2023.

Personal Data is used for the functionality of our Service during the organisational period of the congress edition for which it was collected.ACA2023 stores Personal Data in a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free manner only to the extent required for educational purposes (congress marketing material content, online scientific programme, etc…).

Please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to Thailand and process it there. Abstract Submission Rules & Requirements
Authors can modify the authors information, classification and content of their abstract(s) directly on the submission system until the deadline given, . No extension will be possible.
Consider carefully your submission main section (experimental study Vs. clinical study), topic (3 levels to be chosen from the predefined topic tree) and presentation type. If there is a discrepancy detected between the content of the abstract and its classification,ACA2023 reserves the right to change any of the given fields. Authors of abstracts with changed classification or topic will receive a special notification.
Authors declare that the work described in their piece of work has been conducted in accordance with Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) for studies with both human and non-human animal subjects.
As part of the submission process for theACA2023, the submitting author accepts, on behalf of all authors, their abstract(s) to be made public on theACA2023 online community platform and grants the authorization to publish the work in anyACA2023 proceedings in case of need.
Authors must not refer to specific products and/or brands in their abstracts and presentations, unless in connection with an evidence-based objective comparing similar products or brands. All content should be objective.
Authors are required to disclose for each author any relevant financial conflict of interest or other relationship with a commercial organization. It includes holding shares, receiving royalties, giving paid presentations for any institution, doing consulting work, receiving institutional support, etc...).
ACA2023 reviewers will judge the abstracts according to their scientific and clinical value, relevance to theACA2023 activities, suitability of methods to aims, conclusions confirmed by results, objectivity of statements, originality of work and overall value to the Orthopaedics & Trauma community.
Acceptance of the submitted work is at discretion of theACA2023 Scientific Committee.
Presentation acceptance
Authors with accepted abstract(s) warrant that nothing in the presentation is copied from or infringes any copyrights from any third parties or breaches any contract. The author undertakes to indemnifyACA2023 against all losses, costs or other damages incurred byACA2023 as a result of a third party claim on basis of the author’s violation of this warranty.
Authors of accepted abstracts authorizeACA2023 to share his/her Personal Data with third-parties suppliers for congress needs (congress registration, online display of scientific programme on theACA2023 website, integration within the congress App, etc…)
Authors authorizeACA2023 to record and/or broadcast their presentation(s) and to use any related materials, such as slides and speaker notes (referred collectively as “Presentation”). Authors grant toACA2023 the perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use their name, picture, abstract, Presentation and biographical information to the extent required for educational purposes only.
If the presenting author is unable to present his/her work at the congress, it is his/her responsibility to ensure that one of the co-authors overtakes the role. In such case, authors need to inform theACA2023 Head Office about the change and communicate the corrected naming of authors in the abstract (#). Failure to present the abstract on-site will result in exclusion from the submission process for the future.

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.
ACA2023, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and its licensors do not warrant that a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.
Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 15 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
